A New Direction
By Molly on Jan 1, 2008 in Featured
Hi my name is Molly and this is my blog.
The above sentence was much more for my benefit than anyone else’s. It’s a reminder to me not to neglect my beautiful little blog any longer. I’ve been having a hard time writing anything here and I can’t figure out why. I have a million thoughts in my head and yet when I put fingers to keyboard nothing flows, nothing.
So here’s the new plan, this morning while snuggled all cozy in my bed and talking with the Lord about oh, just about everything, I hatched this new plan… in my head… worried yet?
Molly-Coddled.com is going to morph into more of a journal. Instead of trying to come up with posts for people to read, I’m just going to let my thoughts flow. I believe in my heart of hearts that this new year will bring a lot of change in my life. I want to be able to look back and read what I was thinking in the midst of these transitions. If these thoughts spark discussions among those of you who read here - WONDERFUL. If reading here becomes a chore, I apologize in advance.
My dear friend Amy wrote a beautiful post that spoke to me on so many levels. First, what her Grandma had to say about blogs confirmed some of my similar thoughts. Then, her statement, “THE WALL IS NOT REAL” slapped me upside the head in such a good, faith-affirming way. Her thoughts were the cherry on the sundae that has been the lesson the Lord has been teaching me since the beginning of November. Her post helped me come to the decision to take this blog in a new direction and turn it into more of a diary.
I love what is real and I want to be real. Instead of pretending I have answers I’ll just post what I’m thinking and prove instead I’m mostly filled with questions.

Happy New Years
hope 2008 is a good year for you

I look forward to continuing to read your blog

I love the “thought-flowing” types of blogs. I feel like I get to know the real blogger better that way. Looking forward to reading what you have to say.

Let’s see if I can wade through all this SAP! lol!
No, seriously, that was a fantastic link–I was so blessed to read her take on the WALL, that I just looked again and read it to Husband. He doesn’t give away a, “Wow,” very easily, but he gave it away tonight. Thanks so much for linking, Molly.
So? When are you moving to Texas?

Thats a good Idea, I would run with it. Its always hard to think of things to write for others. Its easiest to just let the pen flow with your thoughts.

“I want to be real.” That’s at the core of my heart as well. God help us! … I love your blog title, by the way. Coddled–yes we are.

Hello! I really like the way the lists drop down in your sidebar under Lots of Doohingies. Could you tell me where you got that or how you did it? I’m an amateur at this web stuff so I hope it’s easy.
Thank you.
